More is more

Stylists and fashion journalists have guided the way towards stylish dressing. For a long time, certain rules were followed to adapt to the idea of “good taste”: no mix of prints, no mix of bright colours, no oversized clothes, less is more. Designers and new generations are playing with these rules as they see new generations of fashionistas expressing their personality with their style.

Summer ends and we strive to find the best fall style. Just try by adding more and more (and more) layers, colors and prints! Try opposite garments that didn’t get along to create dynamic and fun looks. Breaking the rules and creativity are “in” this season.

This aesthetic, characteristic of the 1980s, was adopted by movie stars and rock icons who sought to express their artistic personality and disobedience to norms through their clothes. Today, the trend is coming back to allow consumers to explore new creative ways to dress. Geometric prints, denim, stripes, camouflage, big accessories, and leopard print, can go together if you wish to. Houses like Versace, Gucci, Emilio Pucci have displayed overloaded styles with garments that contrast with each other, creating an extravagant aesthetic.

Nowadays, individuality opens the way for young people, becoming the most important accessory when it comes to clothing. Many changes in the world have led people to want to differentiate themselves and show their personality and real self. Fashion, which plays an important role in the expression of liberty and uniqueness, becomes the main communication tool.

Today, not only do designers use their creativity to create collections, they use it to create innovative outfits and draw attention to their street style. The need to be different and not look like anyone else has helped people find different choices and create new styles. Independence, creativity and innovation are emerging as the strongest trend at this time.
